Andorra
Andorran cuisine grew out of the practical food traditions of the Pyrenees, where mountain communities relied on ingredients that could be stored through long winters. Potatoes, cabbage, beans, cured pork, cheese, bread, mushrooms, and game therefore feature prominently in traditional dishes.
Many specialities are rustic and filling, including mountain stews, grilled meats, and dishes built around preserved pork. Catalan influence is particularly evident, while seasonal mushrooms, wild greens, and other mountain products add a strong sense of place to Andorran cooking.
