- 3g (1/2 tsp) salt

- 250 ml (1 cup) whole milk
- 60 ml (1/4 cup) vegetable oil
Method
- Preheat the oven to 190°C (375°F) and grease a loaf pan.
- In a bowl, whisk together cornmeal, flour, sugar, baking powder and salt.
- In a separate bowl, whisk eggs, milk and oil until combined.
- Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined.
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan and smooth the top.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes until a toothpick inserted in the centre comes out clean.
- Cool for 10 minutes before slicing.
