World-class Riesling, ranging from bone-dry (Trocken) to lusciously sweet (Auslese, Beerenauslese, Trockenbeerenauslese, and ice wine/Eiswein), mostly from the Mosel and Rheingau regions. Labels use a ripeness-at-harvest scale (Kabinett through Trockenbeerenauslese) that indicates potential sweetness, not necessarily finished sweetness.
Profile
High acid; ranges bone-dry to very sweet; floral, citrus, petrol notes with age.
