Shops & Street Food Review

Jaru

Space Jaru is exactly the sort of place that makes Dublin's food scene exciting - casual and unfussy but with clear care in the food, and a much more local feel thanks to Meath Street. The tteokbokki was the standout, wonderfully chewy and coated in sweet-spicy gochujang sauce, while the Korean fried chicken had a brilliant crunchy coating and the kimchi fries were a ridiculous, welcome fusion side. Genuinely exciting rather than another version of the same Asian takeaway menu.
