Shops & Street Food Review

Deja Vu Street Kitchen

Deja Vu felt like a proper weekend brunch hangout rather than a quick grab-and-go stop - casual, lively and a little chaotic in the best way. The French toast was the standout, and the buffalo wings and brisket fries were great for sharing. It's a shame Deja Vu is now listed as permanently closed, because it had exactly the kind of indulgent American-style brunch menu Belfast does really well.

Best Thing About It

The French toast - soft and sweet in the middle, with salty bacon and maple syrup making a perfect sweet-and-savoury combination.

Could Be Better

Nothing to fault on the visit itself - the main downside now is that it's no longer open.
