Shops & Street Food Review

Caribbean868

The first thing that gets you with Caribbean868 is the smell - you can practically smell the spices before you're properly at the stall. The curry chicken was gorgeous, rich and warmly spiced, and the bake and fish was probably my favourite thing on the whole list. Specifically rooted in Trinidad and Tobago, this is proper filling food at market-stall prices, made to be eaten rather than photographed.

Best Thing About It

The bake and fish - crisp fried dough, soft inside, filled with seasoned fish and sauces.

Could Be Better

Presentation is all about the food rather than photography - don't expect a fancy plate-up.
