Stepping down into the vibey, open-plan basement beneath a gorgeous restored atrium ceiling is always an experience, with craft beer, mustard seeds and fried street snacks in the air. The Vada Pav is spicy and potatoey in a soft bun with lip-smacking chutneys, and the Okra Fries are shatteringly crisp and dangerously addictive. A genuine Manchester dining icon and practically a rite of passage.
