BaoBun Lisburn Road

BaoBun is bright, casual and exactly the kind of place where you immediately start looking at what everyone else is eating - the steamed buns are impossible to ignore, coming out soft and fluffy and packed with fillings. The teriyaki beef was my favourite, while the char siu had a lovely caramelised edge. It's exactly the kind of street food I want when I'm bored of sandwiches, with enough variety to keep coming back.

Best Thing About It

The teriyaki beef bao - soft, slightly sweet, almost cloud-like buns with a sweet-savoury sauce that worked beautifully with the fluffy bun.

Could Be Better

Sides can quickly turn a quick snack into a bigger, pricier meal if you're not careful.
