Restaurant Review
The Sultan
An unforgettable atmosphere paired with masterfully crafted Mediterranean cuisine.
01 The Arrival
Housed inside a magnificent Grade II listed building dating back to 1882, stepping into The Sultan feels like entering an opulent historical palace. The exterior is grand, and the welcome is exceptionally polished.
02 The Food
We had the signature gourmet lamb casserole, beautifully spiced grilled seafood, paired with specialty Mediterranean mocktails. Immaculate presentation that bridges traditional Ottoman recipes with modern culinary flair - the meat melted in the mouth, slow-cooked to perfection, with rich, aromatic and complex sauces.
03 The Experience
Impeccably trained staff provide attentive, polite and seamless service throughout the entire meal without ever feeling overbearing. The breathtaking, meticulously restored historic interior creates a romantic, luxurious ambiance.
04 Was It Worth It?
Higher-end pricing, but completely justified by the historic setting, gorgeous presentation and top-tier culinary execution.
05 The Verdict
A stunning historic building, exquisite gourmet dishes and an upscale romantic ambiance - premium pricing means it's best reserved for special dates or celebrations. Date-night seekers, history buffs and fine-dining lovers will fall head over heels for this place.
