Restaurant Review
Quinlans Seafood Bar
The absolute gold standard for fresh, locally caught fish in the city centre.
01 The Arrival
Located on bustling Princes Street, Quinlans is run by an actual Kerry fishing family, so the catch of the day is impossibly fresh.
02 The Food
Dingle Bay wild squid with homemade sweet chilli jam, creamy seafood chowder and classic fish and chips with a pint of stout - the squid was tender with zero rubberiness and the chowder rich and hearty.
03 The Experience
Service was fast, efficient and welcoming even with queues forming outside, giving the whole place a bustling, authentic, cheerful energy.
04 Was It Worth It?
Brilliant value considering the fish comes straight from the family's boats to your plate.
05 The Verdict
Unbeatable seafood freshness and a legendary sweet chilli jam, though it does get extremely busy during peak lunch hours. Seafood lovers visiting Cork simply cannot miss this spot.
