01 The Arrival

Located right in the heart of the city near Cardiff Market and the Principality Stadium, Glassworks greets you with a buzzing, historic pub facade. Stepping inside, the welcome is warm, and the interior nails that classic-yet-lively pub aesthetic with comfortable seating and great screens for sports fans.

02 The Food

We went for classic fish and chips, a juicy gourmet bacon cheeseburger with chips, and a couple of refreshing seasonal summer ciders. The burger was succulent with perfectly melted cheese, and the fish had a golden, shatteringly crisp batter enclosing flaky, tender fish - excellent comfort food portions that totally hit the spot.

03 The Experience

The staff were absolute superstars - super friendly, attentive even during busy pre-match rushes, and wonderfully efficient at getting drinks and food out swiftly. The atmosphere is lively, inclusive and fun, with sports playing and upbeat chatter filling the room.

04 Was It Worth It?

Totally worth it. Generous portion sizes and reasonable pub pricing mean you leave completely happy without hurting your wallet.

05 The Verdict

Pros are the fantastic central location, brilliant atmosphere for groups and super friendly service, though it can get extremely busy on big match days so booking ahead is a must. Anyone looking for a fun, relaxed meal with great pub energy will love it here.
