Restaurant Review
Basecamp Indian Kitchen
A fantastic, flavourful spot that elevates traditional Indian street food classics.
01 The Arrival
Vibrant, modern and smelling intensely of toasted cumin and fresh coriander, Basecamp pulls you in with an energetic, trendy storefront and a wonderfully enthusiastic welcome from the team.
02 The Food
We had crispy chaat starters, butter chicken loaded fries, and a rich, aromatic lamb curry with garlic naan. Packed with punchy, authentic spices that dance on the palate - the balance of heat and flavour is spot-on, and the presentation is bright, colourful and modern.
03 The Experience
Extremely polite and speedy service - the servers are more than happy to explain menu items and help you choose the right spice levels. The atmosphere is trendy, upbeat and social with contemporary music and stylish lighting.
04 Was It Worth It?
Brilliant portion sizes for the price, giving you upscale restaurant flavours without a heavy bill.
05 The Verdict
Bold, authentic spice profiles, a fun modern atmosphere and great sharing options - it can get quite busy during weekend peak dinner hours. Anyone who loves vibrant Indian flavours with a modern, trendy twist will love it.
