Ingredients
- 50ml single pot still Irish whiskey
- 25ml sweet red vermouth
- 15ml Green Chartreuse
- 2 dashes orange bitters
- Orange peel twist
Method
- Add the pot still whiskey, sweet vermouth, Green Chartreuse, and orange bitters to a mixing glass packed with clean ice.
- Stir thoroughly for 25 seconds until perfectly chilled.
- Strain into a chilled vintage coupe glass.
- Twist the orange peel over the drink to express the essential oils across the surface, then discard or use as garnish.
A complex, historic pre-prohibition cocktail combining herbal green Chartreuse with sweet vermouth and whiskey. Beguiling, rich, and intensely aromatic.
