The Chipper-Style Garlic Cheese Chip

Ingredients
- 250g frozen thick-cut chips
- 3 tbsp mayonnaise
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 tsp milk (to thin slightly)
- 75g mature Irish white cheddar, finely grated
- Fresh parsley, chopped (optional)
Method
- Cook the chips in the air fryer or oven at 200°C according to the packet instructions until deeply golden and extra crispy.
- While the chips are cooking, make the garlic sauce by mixing the mayonnaise, minced garlic, a pinch of salt, and a splash of milk in a small bowl until smooth.
- Pile the scorching hot chips onto a serving plate or tray.
- Drizzle the garlic mayo heavily over the hot chips, then immediately smother them with the grated white cheddar so it melts instantly into the sauce.
