Ingredients

  • 4 tbsp plain flour
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 1.5 tbsp cocoa powder
  • 1/4 tsp baking powder
  • 3 tbsp milk
  • 1 tbsp melted butter or oil
  • 1.5 tbsp Baileys Irish Cream liqueur

Method

  1. In your favorite microwave-safe mug, whisk together the flour, sugar, cocoa powder, and baking powder using a fork.
  2. Add the milk, melted butter, and Baileys directly into the mug, stirring thoroughly until a smooth chocolate batter forms. Ensure you scrape the bottom corners of the mug.
  3. Microwave on high for 50-60 seconds (based on an 800W microwave). The center should still look slightly damp and molten.
  4. Let cool for 2 minutes before eating directly from the mug with a spoon.
