Ingredients

  • White rum — 60 ml (2 oz)
  • Fresh lime juice — 22.5 ml (3/4 oz)
  • Simple syrup — 15 ml (1/2 oz)
  • Fresh mint leaves — 8-10
  • Angostura bitters, on top — 4-6 dashes

Method

  1. Muddle the mint gently in the bottom of the glass.
  2. Fill with crushed ice and add the rum, lime juice and syrup.
  3. Swizzle until the glass frosts.
  4. Dash Angostura generously over the top and garnish with more mint.

Description: A classic Trinidadian swizzle drink, generously dashed with Angostura bitters (which happen to be made in Trinidad) across the top.
