Ingredients

  • - 1 oz gin
  • - 1 oz Campari
  • - 1 oz sweet vermouth

Method

  1. Add all ingredients to a mixing glass with ice.
  2. Stir well until chilled.
  3. Strain over fresh ice.

Description: Equal parts gin, Campari, and sweet vermouth — bitter, boozy, and beautifully balanced.

Garnish: Orange peel

Note: Said to have been invented in Florence, Italy, around 1919, for Count Camillo Negroni.
