Ingredients

  • 250ml double cream
  • 1 can (397g) sweetened condensed milk
  • 300ml Irish whiskey
  • 2 tsp premium cocoa powder (dissolved in 1 tsp boiling water)
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Method

  1. In a large jug or blender, combine the double cream and sweetened condensed milk.
  2. Pour in the Irish whiskey, the dissolved cocoa powder mixture, and the vanilla extract.
  3. Blend on low speed for 15-20 seconds until completely smooth and cohesive. Do not over- blend, or the cream will start to whip.
  4. Pour the mixture into clean, sterilised glass bottles.
  5. Seal tightly and store in the refrigerator. Shake well before serving cold over ice cubes. (Keeps well for up to 2-3 weeks in the fridge).

An incredibly easy and superior homemade alternative to Baileys. Perfectly rich, smooth, and perfect for gifting or serving over ice during the holidays.
