Ingredients
- 1 large bake-at-home French baguette roll
- 3 pork sausages, fried and split lengthwise
- 2 back bacon rashers, fried crisp
- 2 slices of white pudding, fried
- 1 large egg, fried
- Salted butter and brown sauce
Method
- Bake the French baguette according to instructions so it is scorching hot and ultra-crusty on the exterior.
- While the bread bakes, ensure all your breakfast meats (sausages, bacon, white pudding) are fried crisp and cooked through. Fry the egg until the edges are golden.
- Slice the warm baguette open down the length, taking care not to cut completely through.
- Spread a generous layer of salted butter along the warm crumb so it melts instantly.
- Layer the split sausages, crispy bacon, and fried white pudding inside the bread. Top carefully with the fried egg, drizzle with brown sauce, and wrap tightly in tin foil for 1 minute before slicing in half (this traps the heat and binds the roll together).
