Ingredients

  • - 300g taro leaves, washed and roughly chopped
  • - 1 x 340g tin corned beef, crumbled
  • - 1 onion, sliced
  • - 750ml (3 cups) water
  • - 200ml (3/4 cup) coconut cream
  • - Salt, to taste

Method

  1. Bring the water to the boil in a large pot and add the onion.
  2. Add the taro leaves and simmer for 25 minutes until very tender.
  3. Stir in the crumbled corned beef and simmer for a further 5 minutes.
  4. Reduce heat to low and stir in the coconut cream.
  5. Season with salt and serve hot.
