Ingredients

  • - 2 raw green mangoes, peeled and julienned
  • - 1 small onion, thinly sliced

  • - 1 tbsp roasted peanuts, crushed
  • - 2 tbsp fresh coriander, chopped
  • - 1 tsp mustard oil
  • - 1/2 tsp roasted cumin powder
  • - 1/2 tsp sugar
  • - 1/2 tsp salt, or to taste
  • - 1/2 tsp red chilli powder

Method

  1. Place the julienned green mango in a mixing bowl with the onion and green chilli.
  2. Sprinkle over the roasted cumin powder, sugar, salt and chilli powder.
  3. Drizzle with the mustard oil and toss well to coat evenly.
  4. Let the salad rest for 5-10 minutes to allow the flavours to develop.
  5. Just before serving, top with crushed roasted peanuts and fresh coriander.
