Spiced Barry’s Tea Hot Punch

Ingredients
- 3 Barry's Gold Blend tea bags (or Lyons)
- 750ml boiling water
- 1 cinnamon stick, 2 star anise
- 1 orange, sliced into rounds
- 3 tbsp brown sugar
- 150ml Irish whiskey
Method
- Steep the tea bags in the boiling water for 5 minutes in a saucepan, then remove and discard the tea bags.
- Add the cinnamon stick, star anise, orange slices, and brown sugar to the hot tea.
- Simmer over low heat for 10 minutes to allow the spices to infuse thoroughly.
- Turn off the heat and stir in the Irish whiskey. Ladle warm into mugs, ensuring an orange slice makes it into each serving.
