Ingredients

  • Applejack (apple brandy) — 60 ml (2 oz)
  • Fresh lime juice — 22.5 ml (3/4 oz)
  • Grenadine — 15 ml (1/2 oz)

Method

  1. Add all ingredients to a shaker with ice.
  2. Shake until well chilled.
  3. Strain into a chilled coupe.
  4. Garnish with a lime wheel.

Description: A pink, tart apple brandy sour, one of the signature cocktails of pre-Prohibition America.
