Cultural Background: A 1970s-era American classic, one of several tequila adaptations of the classic Negroni-style bitter cocktail template.
Tips: A good blanco or reposado tequila works well against the Campari's bitterness.
Variations: Use only sweet vermouth (no dry) for a version closer to a straight tequila Negroni.
Serving Suggestion: Serve over ice as a bittersweet, agave-forward aperitif.
