Description: A pink, citrus-forward vodka cocktail that became a defining drink of 1990s and 2000s cocktail culture.
Cultural Background: Its modern form is widely credited to bartender Toby Cecchini in New York in the early 1990s, though earlier, similar drinks existed under the same name.
Tips: Cointreau, not a generic triple sec, gives the cleanest orange note.
Variations: Swap cranberry for white cranberry juice for a paler, drier version.
Serving Suggestion: Serve up, well chilled, in a glass that shows off its rosy color.
Nutrition: Approx. 175 kcal per serving
