Description: A rum member of the 19th-century Daisy family — spirit, citrus, sweetener and a dash of liqueur, direct ancestor of the Margarita.

Cultural Background: Daisies were a defined cocktail category throughout the 1800s across nearly every base spirit, including this rum version.

Tips: Crushed ice gives the classic Daisy texture and keeps the drink extra cold.

Variations: A soda water top turns this into a longer, fizzier "Rum Daisy Fizz."

Serving Suggestion: Serve over crushed ice as a refreshing, historically rooted sour.
