Description: A famously strong, multi-rum tiki classic, historically limited to two per customer at its inventor's bar.

Cultural Background: Created by Don the Beachcomber (Ernest Raymond Beaumont Gantt) in Hollywood in 1934, considered the founding drink of the entire tiki genre.

Tips: Use a genuine falernum (spiced lime syrup), not just simple syrup, for the authentic profile.

Variations: Countless variants exist since Don the Beachcomber's original recipe was kept deliberately secret for decades.

Serving Suggestion: Serve over crushed ice; strong enough that a slow pace is genuinely advisable.

Nutrition: Approx. 260 kcal per serving

FAQs:

Q: Why was it limited to two per customer?
A: Its high alcohol content from three rums plus overproof float made it notably stronger than typical tiki drinks of the era.
