Description: A gin cocktail with an unexpected touch of white crème de cacao, giving it a subtle, dry chocolate note.

Cultural Background: Named for the famed 20th Century Limited train that ran between New York and Chicago, and documented from the 1930s onward.

Tips: Use white (clear) crème de cacao, not the dark chocolate-colored version, to keep the drink pale.

Variations: A dash of orange bitters can add extra aromatic complexity.

Serving Suggestion: Serve up, well chilled, as an unusual but well-balanced gin classic.

Nutrition: Approx. 175 kcal per serving

FAQs:

Q: Does this taste like chocolate?
A: Only subtly — the crème de cacao adds a dry, background cocoa note rather than a sweet chocolate flavor.
