Ingredients
- 150 ml (2/3 cup) hot brewed coffee
- 1 tbsp brown sugar
- 45 ml (3 tbsp) Irish whiskey
- 3 tbsp lightly whipped cream (not fully stiff)
Method
- Warm a heatproof glass with a little hot water, then discard the water.
- Pour the hot coffee into the glass and stir in the brown sugar until dissolved.
- Add the Irish whiskey and stir to combine.
- Lightly whip the cream so it is thick but still pourable, not stiff.
- Gently pour the cream over the back of a spoon so it floats on top of the coffee.
- Serve immediately without stirring, sipping the coffee through the cream layer.
