01 The Arrival

Turkiye Efes feels fun from the minute you walk in, with a lively Merchant City atmosphere and Turkish styling that makes dinner feel like more of an occasion — especially good for a group given how much the menu encourages sharing.

02 The Food

The dishes most often praised include hummus, mixed grills, chicken shish, lamb shish, lamb cutlets, chicken wings and assorted kebab platters, with complimentary balloon-style bread a lovely start to the meal. The grilled meats are the obvious highlight, cooked hot and full of flavour, and mixed platters let you try several different cuts — portions are generous, so there's no worry about leaving hungry.

03 The Experience

Staff are frequently described as friendly, welcoming and accommodating, happy to make recommendations across an extensive menu. There's a proper night-out feel, lively and social, with belly dancing mentioned as adding to the fun — dinner here can easily turn into a whole evening.

04 Was It Worth It?

The lunch menu is particularly appealing, with two courses for around £18, and the generous portions and complimentary bread make the overall experience feel good value.

05 The Verdict

Excellent grilled meats, generous portions, a lively atmosphere, friendly service and great for groups, though it's more of a social night-out restaurant than a quiet dinner spot. Definitely worth returning to, particularly with friends.
