Restaurant Review
Sicilian NQ – Restaurant and Bar
A cosy little slice of Sicily in the Northern Quarter, with standout arancini and gorgeous desserts.
01 The Arrival
Cosy and intimate from the moment you walk in, with a warm atmosphere that feels like stumbling across a little restaurant in Sicily. The welcoming staff made the evening feel relaxed straight away.
02 The Food
Started with arancini, which were beautifully crisp outside and soft inside, packed with flavour. Pasta for mains and a Sicilian dessert followed. The menu felt genuinely Sicilian rather than just another Italian restaurant, with real Southern Italian character throughout — the desserts are worth saving room for.
03 The Experience
Staff were lovely throughout, friendly and happy to explain the dishes when deciding what to order. Really cosy and atmospheric, intimate without feeling stuffy — lovely for a date night or dinner with friends.
04 Was It Worth It?
Prices were very reasonable for the quality of the food and the central location.
05 The Verdict
Authentic Sicilian food, amazing arancini, lovely desserts, friendly staff, cosy atmosphere — genuinely struggled to find anything not to like. One of those Manchester discoveries you immediately want to tell friends about.
