Tang Cafe – Cumberland Street

Definitely worth it - the shakshuka and falafel are both worth trying.

01 The Arrival

A really bright, modern cafe feel - relaxed enough for a casual breakfast but stylish enough for a lunch with friends.

02 The Food

Shakshuka, fresh sourdough and a flat white, plus shared hummus and falafel. The shakshuka was gorgeous with rich tomato sauce and perfectly cooked eggs, the hummus creamy, and the falafel had a lovely crisp exterior without becoming dry.

03 The Experience

Friendly, casual and efficient service in a bright, relaxed atmosphere full of people coming in for coffee, breakfast and lunch.

04 Was It Worth It?

Excellent value - generous portions and very good quality for the price.

05 The Verdict

Fantastic shakshuka, fresh food, excellent value and good coffee, though seating can become limited at busy times. Exactly the kind of cafe for a relaxed brunch or lunch.
