Restaurant Review

The Old Storehouse Bar and Restaurant

Yes, especially if you want dinner followed by music rather than a quiet restaurant evening.

01 The Arrival

Lively from the second you walk through the door, with traditional Irish pub decor, lots of conversation and live music drifting through the building.

02 The Food

Fish and chips, shared chicken wings and Irish stew, finished with an apple crumble. The fish was crisp and flaky with fluffy chips, the stew rich and comforting, the wings had a lovely sticky glaze, and the crumble was exactly right after a hearty meal.

03 The Experience

Friendly and efficient service despite the busy surroundings. Live Irish music starts every day, giving the pub a wonderfully energetic Temple Bar atmosphere.

04 Was It Worth It?

Good value for Temple Bar, particularly considering the generous portions.

05 The Verdict

Great atmosphere, live music, hearty food and a central location, though it's very lively and not somewhere for a quiet dinner. A fun choice for traditional Irish food with music.
