A lovely old-Dublin feel with a traditional bar and dining room that's sophisticated without being stuffy - it immediately feels like somewhere seafood is taken seriously.

02 The Food

Irish oysters and prawn cocktail, followed by pan-fried sea bass with seasonal vegetables, shared chips and a lemon tart. The oysters were fresh and beautifully presented, the prawns sweet and succulent, and the sea bass was the star with wonderfully crisp skin and delicate, flaky flesh.

Professional and knowledgeable service, particularly good at explaining the seafood options. The atmosphere is classic, comfortable and slightly elegant.

04 Was It Worth It?

Good for the quality of the seafood - not cheap, but the portions and produce justify the price.

Excellent Irish seafood, a beautiful setting and knowledgeable service, though seafood dishes can make the bill climb quickly. A great choice for anyone who genuinely loves seafood.
