Shops & Street Food Review
Duad
Duad is much more polished than what I'd normally call street food, but it keeps that relaxed, shareable quality, with quirky decor and a very cool East Belfast feel. The beef cheek tacos were the standout, while the panko prawn tacos were lighter and crunchier. It takes real inspiration from Mexican flavours while mixing in modern Irish and international ingredients, and it's proof that street food can be sophisticated without losing its fun.
Best Thing About It
The beef cheek tacos - incredibly tender meat with a deep, slightly sweet and spicy mole that worked beautifully with the pineapple salsa.
Could Be Better
A little more expensive than straightforward street food, though the quality and presentation justify it.
