The Mandarin Belfast Restaurant

01 The Arrival

The Mandarin has a classic Chinese restaurant atmosphere, with a comfortable dining room and the lovely smell of stir-fried dishes and spices coming from the kitchen.

02 The Food

We shared spring rolls, salt and chilli chicken, crispy shredded beef, egg fried rice and Singapore noodles. The salt and chilli chicken was my favourite - crisp, savoury and with just enough heat - while the crispy shredded beef was sweet, sticky and wonderfully crunchy.

03 The Experience

Friendly and efficient service, with the meal arriving at a good pace. The atmosphere is relaxed and traditional, making it a good option for a family meal or group dinner.

04 Was It Worth It?

Very good, particularly when sharing several dishes.

05 The Verdict

Great sharing menu, generous portions, excellent salt and chilli dishes and a relaxed atmosphere, though the extensive menu can make choosing difficult. A dependable choice for classic Chinese food with plenty of options.
