Malo Empanadas

Malo is tiny, cheerful and completely focused on one thing: empanadas. The pastry was golden, crisp and substantial without becoming heavy, the beef filling deeply savoury and well seasoned, the chicken lighter and herby, and the cheese-and-onion version ridiculously comforting. A great inexpensive lunch that lets you try several flavours without spending a fortune.
