01 The Arrival

Riddle & Finns has that gorgeous old-school oyster-bar atmosphere - intimate, atmospheric and slightly glamorous without feeling ridiculously formal.

02 The Food

Oysters, potted crab, grilled scallops and fish of the day, with a glass of wine. The oysters were incredibly fresh and delicate, the scallops beautifully cooked with a caramelised exterior and soft centre, and the crab was rich and sweet - the kitchen lets excellent seafood speak for itself.

03 The Experience

Service was professional and knowledgeable, which really matters at a seafood restaurant. The intimate Lanes setting and seafood-bar aesthetic make the atmosphere feel special.

04 Was It Worth It?

Definitely a treat rather than an everyday meal - the quality is excellent but oysters and seafood add up quickly.

05 The Verdict

Outstanding seafood, beautiful atmosphere and knowledgeable service, though it is expensive. The place to go when seafood should be the main event.
