Restaurant Review
ETCI Kitchen
Worth returning to for the lamb shish and mezze.
01 The Arrival
ETCI has a warm, welcoming Turkish atmosphere - the smell of grilled meat and freshly baked bread hits almost immediately, with a menu full of dishes worth eating every week.
02 The Food
Hummus, sigara boregi and mixed meze, followed by lamb shish, chicken shish and rice. The lamb shish was beautifully tender with a lovely char, the chicken was juicy and well seasoned, and the sigara boregi - crisp pastry wrapped around creamy cheese - stood out.
03 The Experience
Service was warm and attentive, genuinely welcoming rather than purely transactional. Cosy, lively and comfortable, particularly good for a group given how well the menu lends itself to sharing.
04 Was It Worth It?
Excellent value - generous portions and the mezze-plus-grilled-meat combination makes for a really satisfying meal.
05 The Verdict
Excellent kebabs, generous portions and great mezze, though portions can be enormous if you are not careful. A great choice for Turkish food when hungry and wanting a proper feast.
