Restaurant Review
Kirby’s of Galway
Stylish, central Latin Quarter restaurant that punches above its price point.
01 The Arrival
More polished than your average city-centre spot but still comfortable, right in the middle of the Latin Quarter so it's easy to turn dinner into a whole night out.
02 The Food
Whipped goat's cheese brioche to start, then seared salmon and a side of prawns, finished with limoncello and white chocolate tiramisu — generous without being heavy, with plenty of choice on the menu.
03 The Experience
Friendly, relaxed and efficient service — never felt rushed, and staff were happy to help navigate the menu.
04 Was It Worth It?
One of the better-value options around — the food feels more special than the prices suggest.
05 The Verdict
A great all-rounder for date nights, dinners with friends or just a nice meal in the city — works for almost any occasion.
