Tuk Tuk has a really fun atmosphere - casual but still feels like somewhere worth sitting down for a proper meal, with the Thai influence coming through immediately in the aromas and colourful food. The green curry was the standout, creamy without being bland, and the pad Thai had that lovely sweet, sour and savoury balance while the fish cakes stayed springy and packed with herbs. Thai cooking is all about balancing contrasting flavours rather than simply making everything hot, and this kitchen nails that balance.
