Wagamama Cardiff Library

The Cardiff Library location feels much brighter and more open than other branches, tucked downstairs in the Central Library right in the middle of city-centre buzz. The katsu curry is one of those dishes Wagamama has absolutely nailed - crisp chicken, a creamy mildly spiced sauce and properly filling rice - while the gyoza came nicely browned underneath with a soft wrapper and juicy filling. Wagamama is pan-Asian rather than strictly Japanese, but it makes Asian-inspired food accessible, quick and consistently tasty.
