Storage: Best consumed fresh; can be refrigerated for a few hours, though it will separate slightly.
Reheating: Not applicable — served cold.
Tips: Use very ripe fruit for the best natural sweetness and reduced need for added sugar. Coconut water in place of plain water adds a subtle extra flavour.
Variations: Add a squeeze of lime for brightness. Blend in a small piece of fresh ginger for warmth. Fully vegan if sweetened with sugar rather than honey.

FAQs:
Q: Can I use canned pineapple?
A: Fresh is best for flavour, but well-drained canned pineapple works in a pinch.
Q: Is this drink very sweet?
A: Sweetness depends on fruit ripeness — taste before adding sugar, as ripe papaya and pineapple are often sweet enough alone.
